Every Masano knife is hand-forged by the fourth generation of Masano, master blade smith Hamaguchi and his proud artisan workers at the Toyokuni factory in western Japan in the city of Tosa, Kochi prefecture. The region is widely known for crafting quality knives. Established in 1946, the company preserves the essential elements of Japanese craftsmanship. Their knives provide a blend of the modern and traditional which comes out in their impressive lineup of hunting knives and Japanese style knives.
